60 Seconds With ... Dave Cottrell

What venue has been your favourite on the tour so far
this year?
Definitely the Tokyo International Forum Centre, Japan
What tracks do you most look forward to performing?
To be honest, most of them, but if I had to choose a
current favourite, it would be Pigs.
Beside Pink Floyd, what's on your iPod at the moment?
Loads, although Provision
by Scritti Politti and Transformation
by Tal Wilkenfeld are getting a lot of play
at the moment.
Any disastrous moments on tour this year?
Yes. Nick, Rick and I missed our connection from Paris
to Tokyo after flying in from London. We were on time,
the connection time was impossible. Thankfully, Air
France gave us one free dry sandwich (we had to buy the
drink) to apologise - result.
Which venues are you looking forward to playing this
Autumn?
Looking forward to playing in Hungary for the first time
this Autumn. Also looking forward to the UK gigs on the
south-east coast - home gigs for me.
One item you can't live without on tour?
My iPhone.
Which countries are you looking forward to playing in
the future with TSOPFS?
Looking forward to all of them, but hope that some South
American dates show up in 2010. We haven't been to China
yet either so that would be another in my list.
